In his final season as the Virginia G. Piper Music Director, Michael Christie creates a unique and inspiring program based on the concept of the four seasons. Joining Maestro Christie will be Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient, Karen Gomyo exhibiting a “captivating, honest and soulful” virtuoso talent as she tackles both Vivaldi’s famous yet intricate The Four Seasons paired with the playful and contemporary technique in Piazzolla’s tango-inspired The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
