Tito Muñoz Conducts Ravel's Piano Concerto

Continue to enjoy the next generation of the world’s greatest conductors as Tito Muñoz leads The Phoenix Symphony in a concert of majestic scale. Direct from the Cleveland Orchestra and the Opera National de Lorraine, Tito Muñoz has been lauded for his “natural facility and convincing musicianship on the podium” and will take the audience on a journey through Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10, reflective of the modern Russian school after the death of Joseph Stalin. Join Maestro Muñoz as he also conducts Benjamin Hochman, the winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant for 2011, in the jazz influenced Concerto in G Major by Ravel, as Hochman masters a playing style that has been described as “serene, virtually Olympian in its overview.”
