The Phoenix Symphony and The Phoenix Symphony Chorus perform Mozart’s deathbed composition, Requiem, hailed as the “sublimest achievement that the modern period has contributed to the church.” Music Director Tito Muñoz leads this grand program that also features Arvo Pärt’s In principio, with its ringing, ethereal textures and implacable rhythms, as well as Carlos Chavez’ colorful orchestration of Dietrich Buxtehude’s stately and dancelike Chaconne.

*Coffee Classics performances feature one hour of select pieces and/or movements from the weekend Classics program.
